Sources believe the movie star has been locked into a $100 million televised wedding deal with Jenner, with some dubbing the contract “golden handcuffs.”
Between each of the celebrities’ star power and influence, this could be a wedding that breaks reality TV numbers.
Possible TV Nuptials
Speculation and rumors have been flying more than ever before, with insiders telling news outlets that the couple has agreed to marry before the end of 2026.
It will possibly be a part of The Kardashians on Disney+. While widely circulated, the information is unconfirmed.
However, it could lead to a large payday not only for the husband-to-be, but the TV series as well. The wedding talk has been kick-started by Timothée Chalamet’s speech at the Critics’ Choice Awards in January, where he publicly thanked Jenner during his acceptance speech.
A TV production source claimed, “There have been exploratory talks about capturing major milestones on camera, and a wedding would be the ultimate ratings moment. The numbers being discussed are extraordinary because the audience reach is extraordinary.”
Serious Relationship
Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner have been dating since April 2023. While rumors have flown about the couple’s connection, Chalamet put them to rest during his Critics’ Choice Awards acceptance speech.
He said, “And lastly, I’ll just say thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
It seems as if Chalamet and Jenner’s relationship is more than just casual red-carpet appearances.
A source close to the couple elaborated, “Timothée and Kylie are serious about each other and have discussed engagement. Kylie is very hands-on in her business decisions and Timothée respects that. Their dynamic works because they are different personalities who complement each other. If there is a chance to turn a personal milestone into a global media event, the family knows how to execute it. A wedding special featuring someone of Timothée’s stature would dwarf most previous reality TV moments.”

While all of the Kardashians carry weight when it comes to social media and reality TV, Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner are a true star-studded couple.
Between the two, they have a social media following that’s over 400 million. They are in similar power couple ranks to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. If the couple decides to go through with a reality TV wedding, it could become the show’s biggest ratings event yet.
However, it should be noted that insiders have mentioned that Chalamet has no interest in joining Jenner on reality TV, as it doesn’t fit within his A-list plans.
One source did add, “Timothée is chasing status as one of Hollywood’s heavyweight stars, and reality TV does not fit with that. But an offer of $100 million to rope him in would be too much for him to resist.”
When thinking about Timothée Chalamet’s presence on screen, an entertainment industry executive commented, “Timothée is clearly extremely valuable right now – critically acclaimed, commercially bankable, culturally relevant. If he were to participate in a televised event of that scale, it would command a premium figure. If that number is $100 million, that would be realistic as the appetite from fans to see him marry Kylie on TV is real, and he would be in because of the huge sum involved.”

In 2011, Kim Kardashian married Kris Humphries in a two-part television event with 10.5 million watching. However, that marriage lasted just 72 days.
In 2014, Kim married Kanye West, again being televised.
The most recent wedding was in 2022, when Kourtney Kardashian married Travis Barker in Italy.
