Your favorite comedic doctors are scrubbing back in.
The Scrubs reboot is adding a 10th season to the beloved series, featuring returning and new faces on screen. The series is set to premiere on ABC with next-day streaming on Hulu.
Returning to Set
Though it’s been a long time, the characters are falling back into place.
“Man, I missed this,” Zach’s JD confesses while walking through Sacred Heart Hospital after years away. “Just getting real with each other.”
With Chris and JD’s love back on the screen, fans are pleased, and the coworkers? Not as much.
Fellow physician Dr. Perry Cox sighs in the teaser, stating, “You two idiots are perfect for each other.”
JD also adds further into the promo, “We do the most good we can in a single shift and we’re there for each other.”
While Season 8 of the series acted like the finale of the whole show, it’s not only the fans who are excited. Zach and Donald are also thrilled to be taking on all-new stories that fit into the Scrubs universe and the changed hospital.
What is the Scrubs Reboot About?
The official logline for the Scrubs reboot states:
“JD & Turk scrub in together for the first time in a long time- medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time. Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart and some surprises along the way.”
A teaser has also been released for the reboot, which can be watched below.
