What is 56 Days About?

The drama is an adaptation of Catherine Ryan Howard’s best-selling novel, also titled 56 Days. It centers around Ciara Wyse (Dove Cameron) and Oliver Kennedy (Avan Jogia), two strangers who meet in a supermarket and quickly fall into a fast, volatile affair.
Fifty-six days later, homicide investigators arrive at Oliver’s apartment to find an unidentified body “brutally murdered and intentionally decomposed.”
This launches a dual timeline that splits a single, intense day of investigation with the lovers’ rapidly escalating relationship. The series will interweave a crime procedural with a psychological thriller, all wrapped up in a bow of riveting twists.
Behind the Scenes
While there is no trailer yet for 65 Days, Prime Video has released first-look images ahead of the premiere. Along with Cameron and Jogia, the cast includes Karla Souza as Lee Reardon and Dorian Missick as Karl Connoolly.
In the background, Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher developed the adaptation and served as executive producers. Howard, James Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett were also executive producers on the projects.
The series was produced by Amazon MGM Studios in association with Atomic Monster.
Final Thoughts
The series aims to turn Howard’s tightly wound novel into a character-driven television event that viewers won’t want to miss, full of chemistry and cross-genre appeal.
The global rollout across its platform will occur on February 18th, so make sure to set your calendars and get ready to watch all eight episodes of 65 Days.
