Disney and NBCUniversal agree to allow Peacock and Hulu to share the streaming right to all seven seasons of the show, with 146 episodes in total. The show started streaming on Netflix in the U.S. in the summer of 2013. It originally aired on Fox from 2011 to 2018. 

It stars Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Lamorne Morris, and Hannah Simone, which makes the cast of New Girl, along with a few side characters you see throughout the seasons that make an appearance, some for a short time, others for a longer time on the show.

The comedy show is set in L.A., centered around five friends who form a dysfunctional family. Nick is a law school dropout who is a bartender, and Schmidt is a fussy and aggressive young business professional who is proud of his abs. Winston is a former competitive athlete who doesn’t know what to do next. Cece, who is Jess’s childhood best friend, is a model. 

Jessica is goofy, positive vulnerable, and honest to a fault. She has faith in people even if they don’t deserve it. She can be dorky and awkward but is comfortable in her skin. She isn’t used to hanging out with boys, especially at home, but she becomes the roommate they need when they need advice. The show is filled with hilarious and cringe-worthy moments that will get you laughing hysterically.
