This isn’t a scam, gimmick or trick. You can really get free Apple TV+ shows right now without signing up for anything.

Apple confirmed to TheWrap on Friday that two episodes of each Apple TV+ series are available for free to those using the Apple TV app

The Wrap

And if you do it right, you can get four episodes of each show for free! Yes please, Apple.

So what’s the catch?

If you have Apple TV or an Apple device and can access the Apple TV app you’re in! That’s it. No catch. That’s 45 percent of the United States phone market. That means there’s a 50% chance you have access right now! So stop and go watch the show you’re most curious about.

If you don’t have the App perhaps you can find something to watch on one of our superb lists.

Be aware, only the following shows have two episodes available.

Oprah’s Book Club and The Elephant Queen are not included in Apple’s generosity.

Maximizing Apple’s generosity

Right now, each show has three episodes available. You can watch two, yet will need to sign up for the third. It’s nice of Apple to give us enough to get hooked.

The good news is that if you do want to watch that third episode you can do so within the seven-day trial given when you sign up. If you’re clever (or just cheap like me), you can time that seven-day trial so that episode four of each show will be out before it runs out!

Free Apple TV+ shows now

In conclusion:

  • If you have the Apple TV app, you have two free episodes per show waiting for you right now.
  • You’ll need to sign-up to watch the third episode which is also available on Apple TV+.
  • Apple offer a seven-day free trial.
  • Time the free trial right, you can get next week’s episodes too.
  • We don’t know how long that seven-day free trial will be available so leaving it too long might mean you’ll miss out.

Apple TV+ is available now for $4.99 per month. Check out the official Apple TV+ trailer below.
