The drama still continues, but this time, it’s not an attack on Tisdale. Glee alum Becca Tobin bashes Hilary Duff’s husband, calling him gross for getting involved.

The 39-year-old alum spoke about Ashley Tisdale French’s “toxic” mom group drama during her podcast, LadyGang, on Tuesday, and slammed the Lizzie McGuire alum‘s husband for involving himself in the drama.

“Now let me tell you, I don’t think there’s any loser… there’s no loser in this group, to me, not one except for Hilary Duff’s husband,” Tobin pointed out on the podcast. “I think it is so gross when husbands jump in and get petty. Especially since Ashley did not name names.”

This conversation was in regards to Hilar Duff’s husband coming to the mom group’s defense, posting a shady Instagram Story post clearly mocking Ashley Tisdale’s post about her interview with The Cut. While Tisdale spoke about the mom group, she never dropped names, although fans quickly figured out it was a mom group with a few A-listers, including Meghan Trainor, Samii Ryan, Mandy Moore, and Hilary Duff.

Not only did Tisdale post an interview with The Cut about leaving your toxic mom groups, but she also posted about it on her personal blog, By Ashley French.

Even though it might have been uncovered quickly, Tisdale kept most of the details under wraps. It wasn’t until the mom group started to lash out that fans could clearly see who the group included.

Tobin mused that the friction in the mom group could just amount to a difference of parenting opinions, but sharply criticised Matthew Koma, Hilary Duff’s husband’s, involvement. Tobin explained that she would have understood Koma getting involved if Tisdale had been directly calling out Duff, but she didn’t.

“I really am rubbed the wrong way when a man inserts himself like this, and it’s solely for him to get attention,” she said.

LadyGang’s co-host, Jac Vanek, chimed in and said that Koma was known for causing drama on social media. “He always inserts himself into things,” she said. “So it’s not surprising that he would do that in that situation, as like, a normal husband.”

Tobin doubled down, accusing him of “attacking a woman”, while sharing her negative opinion on Koma. “I think that’s so tacky. I would be so upset with my husband, whether or not I get along with this person. We had a falling out… whatever the thing is. It’s like, she goes low, and then he goes lower.”

“I think it’s actually really gross when a man comments on something like this and also it’s offensive,” she continued. “It’s offensive for what he said about her. I don’t like it at all.”

Comments show a lot of fans disagreeing with Tobin’s take, saying, “Wasn’t he just standing up for his wife?”, and others saying, “He didn’t attack a woman, he was supporting his wife in a funny way, he was not tacky.”
