When is Only Murders in the Building season 3 coming?
Only Murders in the Building season 3 will be released on August 8, 2023. It will premiere the first two episodes of the show on Hulu after a long awaited break. After that, every episode will be released on Tuesdays. We can expect the season to have ten episodes just like seasons 1 and 2. Hulu releases episodes weekly to provide a more television vibe and keeps viewers returning for more suspense each week.

Only Murders in the Building Season 1
In season 1, we meet Charles, who is a former actor and was on a detective show entitled “Brazzos,” Oliver, who was a bright and energetic stage director, and finally is Mabel, a young woman that is helping her aunt renovate her apartment in Manhattan. The three of them live in the Arconia, an elegant apartment complex on the Upper West Side of New York City. They soon discover, when they are bonding over a crime podcast, that a murder has happened in their building. They then realize the person killed was an unpleasant neighbor named Tim Kono. Along the way, you see the trio unfold secrets that lead to finding out who killed Tim.
Only Murders in the Building Season 2
In season 2, we’re back with another murder in the building. Early on, we see someone killing Bunny, another Arconia resident, in Mabel’s apartment. Mabel tries to help Bunny and gets covered in her blood, making her look guilty. Throughout the season, you see what Bunny’s last day looked like and everyone around that could have killed her. The trio tries to discover why someone would kill Bunny and how they are framing Mabel for her murder by placing evidence in each of their apartments. They don’t realize how someone is getting in and out of their apartments until someone from Charles’s past helps shine the light on how the killer is doing it.
What’s coming in Only Murders in the Building Season 3
In season 3, we can expect it to be a year after they solve Bunny’s case and Oliver is directing a play on Broadway. Mabel is attending the show with friends while Charles is participating as one of the male leads in the play. We know this because at the end of season 2, a killing happens to one of Oliver’s theater actors right before the show starts.
You may have heard lots of buzz about this new season because there are new members to the cast. For example, Paul Rudd who plays Antman in the Marvel movies will be joining Only Murders in the Building season 3. Jesse Williams is another famous addition to this season after his role in Grey’s Anatomy. Lastly, Meryl Streep, known for her many Academy Awards and pop culture films like Julie & Julia and The Devil Wears Prada, makes an exciting appearance in this show for the first time. We don’t know what roles they will be playing in Only Murders in the Building, but fans are even more excited for what is to come. And that’s saying a lot.
